Chateau L’Orangerie Yoga Retreat offers you an opportunity to immerse yourself into beautiful daily yoga and meditation practices. This six- or four-day retreat allows you to Leave behind the stress of your daily life and find balance in your body and mind amidst the peaceful French countryside of the Deux Sevres.

At Chateau L’Orangerie it is all about the guest experience, beyond the peaceful and beautiful location we will make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Offering food and drink service that will complement your stay with us. 

L’Orangerie Retreats aim is to offer you a caring, kind and compassionate space that will encourage you to be rejuvenated and as relaxed as possible.

On our retreats you will discover the key elements of Hatha yoga with elements of Iyengar yoga, enriched by meditation and relaxation, adapted to all levels.

Our retreat will allow you the space and time to reconnect with yourself and feel rejuvenated and re-energized.

Spaces are limited per retreat, this ensures personal attention and peace of mind for those who may be concerned about their level of Yoga practise compared to other participants.

This is a chance for you to get away from the hustle and bustle and balance your work and everyday life to rediscover the part of yourself, which is peaceful, calm and content.

A warm and generous welcome awaits you at our little slice of heaven in L’Orangerie nestled close to St Loup sur Thouet in the North Deux Sevres, which just happens to be one of France’s best kept secrets, we offer the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern living. Relax in the pool surrounded by spectacular and beautiful garden and countryside views. Here you will be able to take a step away from your normal routine and responsibilities and allow yourself the opportunity to feel nurtured and pampered.

This retreat is all about leaving you as relaxed as possible. Everything is thought of, so you can literally switch off relax and be guided through 4 or 6 days of blissful nurturing.

In addition, we offer the opportunity to visit a local vineyard with tasting, a walk in the surrounding countryside and join Chris in the kitchen for a gastronomic treat.
