Housekeeping has to be done today! The laundrette hours said it would be open at 8am! I’m up early with my washing. Guess what? The bloody laundrette was still closed!

There was a little bistro cafe open opposite the municipal albergue, where a few pilgrims were having breakfast. I had an opportunity to catch up with fellow pilgrims and wish them Buen Camino for their walk and sadly say goodbye to others who were leaving the Camino today.
I was thinking I’m supposed to be resting today as I walked around Burgos trying to find a laundrette open. To no avail I made my way back to the hotel. Where Dom and I had a great breakfast. I’m thinking I might have a late start tomorrow morning just for the breakfast! 🤣

My right achilles has been feeling tight over the last few days and no matter what I do has not resolved this issue. Talking with a fellow pilgrim in the laundrette she kindly gave me a physiotherapist who was open and she was seeing later today.
A few WhatsApp messages later and I’m making my way to the physio for an 11.30 appointment. Leaving Dom in the laundrette to finish off my washing! Bless him, he’s come all this way and finds himself on his own for an hour or so.
Washing done. The lovely, lovely physiotherapist has given me my legs back, they feel wonderful and my achilles are no longer bothering me. Thank you Camino 🙏

Those of you who are reading and know me well you know how much time I spend thinking about food! I’m like a child in a sweet shop with all this choice! Fabulous Morcilla de Burgos and chorizo cooked in red wine for lunch, bread and a glass of Rioja. What more does a pilgrim want for.
After 7.30 mass in the cathedral Dom and I had a lovely supper not too far from the hotel. Then early to bed for Josie as I had an early start on Sunday morning.
Thanks for taking the time to read my drivel, all your comments mean so much 💕 TTFN
Buen Camino 😘
